Fitch raises Russia’s 2021 GDP growth outlook to 3.7% from 3.3%
MOSCOW, Jun 16 (PRIME) -- International rating agency Fitch Ratings has raised its forecast for Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth in 2021 to 3.7% from 3.3% projected in March, the agency said in a report late on Tuesday.
Fitch also maintained its forecast for Russia’s GDP growth in 2022 at 2.7%. In 2023, economic growth in Russia is projected to slow down to 2%.
The agency sees Russia’s inflation at 5.1% in 2021, 4.2% in 2022, and 4% in 2023.
The central bank’s key rate is projected at 5.75% by the end of 2021, 5.5% by the end of 2022, and 5.5% in 2023 as well.
